Accreditation as an Environmental Inspection Body under the ISO-EN-UNE 17020 standard.

GeoAmbient is accredited by ENAC with number 507/EI769 as an environmental inspection body under the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard in the field of soils and associated groundwater, including Quantitative Risk Assessments and soil gases, as well as in the field of landfills for groundwater inspection according to Annex III of RD 646/2020.

The ENAC accreditation highlights the quality of the services provided by GeoAmbient in the inspection of potentially contaminated soils, associated groundwater, Quantitative Risk Assessments, and groundwater inspection in landfills. It also ensures the application of standardized operating protocols related to these inspection activities and compliance with current regulations.

Specifically, the accredited activities for each of the inspection fields are as follows:

Soils and associated groundwater and soil gases: Design and execution of soil quality assessments related to activities, installations, or potentially contaminating actions for the purpose of:

  • Status reports (baseline or initial, supplementary, periodic, due to activity change, land use, or closure…).
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment.
  • Monitoring and control reports of decontamination.
  • Verification/certification reports of decontamination.

Landfills: Control and monitoring during the operational and post-maintenance phases of the landfill (Annex III of RD 646/2020):

  • Groundwater
